I can't imagine what it must have been like for those men on that beach

I'm watching some original movie before starting my work. One comment during our lunch with my wife and my first-born: "(here) Everyone should be grateful for that military intervention!".
Perhaps could have been avoided? Sure, I don't know.... anyhow R.I.P.
Now the wars are very different....
We hope that humanity will become one great people of this great land, in peace!
