O Signore, grazie di avermi dato
la forza e la determinazione di
portare a termine il compito che
mi avevi affidato.

diretto e sincero attraverso i molti
ostacoli sul mio cammino,

e per avermi dato la determinazione quando
tutto intorno sembrava perduto.
Grazie per la tua protezione e
per i tanti segni lungo la strada.

Grazie per il bene che posso aver compiuto e
ti chiedo scusa per il male.

Grazie per l'amica che ho trovato,
ti prego veglia su di lei come hai
vegliato su di me.

Grazie per avermi finalmente permesso di riposare,
sono molto stanco,
ma ora vado verso il mio riposo in pace sapendo
di aver impiegato bene il mio tempo
su questa terra.

Ho combattuto il buon combattimento,
